Now that I understand the conventions and that I have planned what my front cover and contents page are going to contain, I need to actually start to create my pages.

As part of the project we actually had to take our own photos, the originals which are shown below.

Yet these photos don't automatically give the desired effect that I want from my front cover and contents page, therefore I am going to have to manipulate them using Photoshop. This will allow me to crop the images so that it only contains certain parts and allow me to manipulate them to give the desired effect that I need.
